The Spanish "Mistral" S-70 submarine is a Galerna-Class submarine, developed in France as a diesel-electric fast attack submarine called Agosta-Class. 4 submarines were built in the Bazán shipyard in Cartagena. It was delivered to the Spanish Navy in 1985. It has 4 torpedo tubes with the capacity to store 16 torpedoes. Can reach a depth of 300 meters (984. ft), and a maximum dive speed of 20 knots. The "Mistral" will be withdrawn from service in June 2020, waiting for the first of the new Isaac Peral S-80 Plus Class submarines to enter service in 2022.
